Gwynhaff the dragon will lead the festival parade this year!

23 March 2022

Gwynhaff is Festive Road’s larger-than-life, pedal-powered red dragon. She is a magnificent creature and, despite her fearsome look, she is very friendly.

Whether walking or standing, she is highly interactive and engaging  –  she loves nothing more than people coming up to say hello, and is always happy to pose for photos.  Gwynhaff  is very ‘chatty’ and proud of her ability to exhale smoke, as any self-respecting dragon would be!

Gwynhaff will come with Festive Road, the amazing outdoor arts organisation who have been part of the parade in previous years. They use recycled and discarded materials, fusing art and engineering along with a huge amount of imagination to create awesome, unique and inspiring mechanically-powered giant puppets.

Everyone is welcome to watch or join the parade. Keep an eye out for more details or if you are part of a group who would like to take part then get in touch: info@bicesterfestival.org
